I’m truly happy to share my latest editorial publication „Pool Diaries“, featured in the May 25 Issue #53 Vol. 10 of Roll Up Magazine NYC – including a full feature and a cover page.
Huge thanks to the amazing team at @rollupmagazineok for this opportunity!
For „Pool Diaries“, we were granted special permission to shoot at our main town pool – the Freibad Wartberg in Pforzheim @stadt_pforzheim – while it was still empty and being prepared for the upcoming summer season.
What makes this editorial even more meaningful to me: it was shot entirely on medium format film, using Kodak Portra400 & Kodak T-Max400 , masterfully developed and scanned by my trusted lab @urbanfilmlab
A few words about our vision:
“An empty pool becomes a stage of contradiction. What once held water now holds presence – body, attitude, and memory.
In a dream of late spring, our subject drifts between hyperreal styling and soft detachment.
There is strength in stillness, a performance in pause.
Pool Diaries is not just about fashion – it’s about the echo of leisure, captured in analog grain and authentic sunlight.
A diary without words, written in glances and silhouettes.”
